Rock band Biffy Clyro will play an acoustic set in front of a lucky 200 fans who win tickets from XFM radio.
This morning radio station XFM came back from the dead and onto the airwaves. It will broadcast on 96.3FM in Paisley and digital radio across central Scotland.
Chris Baughen, XFM managing editor, stated: “Coming back to Scotland after nearly six years is huge for us. We’re really excited to be returning to our loyal listeners across the country.”
So to celebrate, Biffy Clyro are playing in King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on the 29th of April in the lead up to their tenth appearance at T in the Park.
“XFM’s return to Scotland is massive news, and we’re really excited that we’ve been given the honour of putting on this special gig at King Tut’s to give the station the comeback party it deserves.” said Biffy’s James Johnston.
The event is in aid of the charity War Child which protects children living in war-torn countries.
XFM radio boasts they “championed” acts such as Biffy Clyro as well as The View and Snow Patrol.
Tickets for Biffy’s show can be won during Fraser Thomson’s Breakfast Show and drivetime with Jim Gellatly. Five tickets can be won online here.
